is too much muscle bad for you the same as too much fat?

is it? like say a dude starts at 175 and adds 50 lbs of muscle and some fat to get to 240...lifts are much stronger and he maintains this weight for decades. does the added weight with every step take a bigger toll on the organs, joints, connective tissue compared to staying at 175

if so why is adding tons of muscle considered the idea of being healthy to so many men? like jacked dudes proclaiming they are experts on health and fitness and getting to where they are is the type of healthy you should pursue

What natural activity are you training for the need to be that strong? Lifting man made weights in itself isn't natural. Chopping down a tree with an axe is natural but we have techonology that cuts down trees.

Depends on genetics. If you naturally have a bad/weak heart that runs in the family, its best not to put on too much weight. Any added weight (whether fat or muscle) adds extra strain to your heart. Its even worse if you're a bench and curl bro that doesn't do cardio. THAT is s recipe for disaster.
