Alcohol is the #1 solution to erasing problems, how do people quit this chit? srs
Srs everytime I go drinking with my boy after a few he always asks "You wanna keep drinking?". I normally say yes cause what else are you gonna do lmao. There was a time when I had ambitions, the economy was good, and my boys were on the come up with me not too far behind. Just a young man with the whole world in front of you. Well...a few bad relationships, a few affairs with alchohol, terrible relationship management and the potential has been degraded. Big city and most girls I used to fantasize about want me but.....
I always read these stories about boys or girls who have the world going for them but still go kamikaze. Well, let's just say that I'm starting to see where they're coming from. And that chit is lowkey scary srs.

Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; and if it is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.

if any of that sentiment is sincere, just go check yourself in right now
you will be thankful you did.
but you won’t.

LOL, urineidiot. If you keep using alcohol to erase your problems, soon enough it'll eventually fix them all because you'll be dead. Justifying the need to continue to keep drinking like that is basically the end all be all. Next step is liver failure, delirium tremens, or straight death. Sounds like you and Brad would get along.

it stops working eventually. it gets to the point where you feel so shytty without it that you need to drink, but when you drink it just replaces it with a different kind of shyt feeling.

IDK. To me life is about balance. Sometimes you work and sometimes you play. You should want to do both to your max potential. Can't work to your max potential drunk or hungover therefore you need to limit booze and drugs to only those times when you're done working and don't have other responsibilities.

I think the key to rolling out of a drinking problem is having a legitimate reason to do so, usually either a relationship of some sort or a hard goal. If you’re just sitting around bored being enabled by your buddies then GL quitting srs. Other people telling you it’s bad or you just knowing it’s bad won’t really do jack for motivation by itself.

Weed is a good substitute with none of the subsequent health impacts. Assuming you're using edibles.

Of course the cult would have you believe it.
It does work for a few. Like any other substance use program it has less than a 5% success rate.
It is free, so if you don’t have insurance or can’t afford in/out patient treatment it may be your only option.
Don’t get me wrong, it is a good place to be and the people are amazing.
But as far as it being the only effective method, stop that chit man. You are lying to people about something as serious as recovery.
OP, try it for sure. Practice expectation management and be ready to incorporate as many different forms of treatment as you can. Fill your tool box up with tools. Not just one.
If you want to that is.

Alcohol 100% does not erase problems lol.
It masks it for a night, then doubles the problem the next day.
I treat alcohol like the ****in national guard. 1 weekend (generally just 1 night) a month, 2 weeks a year (vacation).

Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

That's a good schedule but better said than done. This chit get's fun when you do it regularly. Just drink & chill. If you're drinking beer then minute by minute you feel yourself slowly getting better, feeling nicer, more relieved from the stresses of human existence. Everyone in my family wants me to quit drinking and I love them a lot.....but not enough to put this holy water down srs.

I love drinking but I binge. Lately my hangovers are so bad I’m down 2 days so I had to stop. Don’t know what’s causing it. I work all day and night and hit the gym though and then just sitting in my chair drinking beer listening to music soothes all my pains and problems. I just need to better control myself.

Doesn't erase my problems, but lets me kick that mental health can down the road which is good enough.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.
