I Think GTA4 Didn't Have Planes Because Of 9/11

GTA4 had helicopters but not planes like in GTA5.

I think this is because GTA4 was based in New York and rockstar didn't want to imitate 9/11.

Would you agree?

Nah GTA IV was just a chit game that's why.



They replaced fun with simulation and making things realistic just because ..... GTA IV was basically the RDR2 of GTA games .... A depressing slog of a game.

In many ways yet, but I think that mostly applies to the standard Niko story. The the stories they came up with much better campaigns and the game seemed to play better.

But yeah, I think of GTA4 as the RDR2 of GTA games, the GTA where they went all out on realism.

I had fun playing it. I actually played every gta even the first on playstation and finished it.

That's GTA 3. It was going to have a mission where you fly the plane into a building but scrapped it. San Andreas on the other hand had jets.

Yeah I heard that's why they had the Dodo. It was originally supposed to be a plane that you could fly, but they decided to clip the wings after 9/11.

I liked GTA 4 better than 5 for the story and physics. Vehicle crashes and pushing people down stairs and shooting them in differnt body parts always produced a different animation. Was fun AF

gta4 is an all time game. How they intertwined GTAIV TLAD and TBOGT was phenomenal.

If you had any skills you could fly the Dodo all around the map. Was nothing to do with 9/11 it was just a Rockstar joke. Dodo, can't fly, dead as a dodo
