2 workouts in 1 day
My current workout regimen is P/P/L
I've had a couple of occasions where I had to miss workout days in the evenings due to events taking place.
My question is, what if on those days that I have to miss, the day prior, I did 2 workouts that day? (This wouldn't be a weekly thing or anything. I've done 2 a days in the past, but when I was much, much younger.)
For example, If I wake up at 5:00 AM and do a push workout, some barbell bench press, dumbbell bench flat/incline, some shoulder work, etc. Then later that evening I hit another workout (due to not being able to workout the next day.)
Should I do another push workout or hit pull next? How would doing another push workout effect my gains/recovery?
Anyone else do 2 a days?

Depends on your goals, if you compete or you're paid for your physique/performance then sure go for it. Otherwise, i don't see why you'd do that. Just find a program that fits your schedule and stick to it.

If it is that critical that you do not miss a workout, then, yes, you can run a second workout the same day. I would just run the workout you had scheduled for the day you're missing.
You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.
