One summer, I watched a commercial roofing crew replace a roof across the street for a few weeks, including pouring hot tar. It was 115°-118° every single day during that stretch.

Every day when they finished, they could barely walk to their 2003 Toyota Corollas. Reminded me of those Everest "survivor" videos when some dude who everyone thought was dead stumbles into base camp, dragging his feet every step.
