Wrong bruh. You're out of touch.

COD/apex/halo are controller dominated games. Over the last few years many pros have switched to controller, apex teams actively recruit controller players. The aim assist these games have is nearly aimbot levels esp at a pro level, it's essential to have a controller fragger.

There is only one north American pro apex team that's all mnk players and they are pretty mid.

I thought the PS5 controller had some horrible latency issue in the fighting scene or something?

The clip I posted would be referring to using a ps5 controller on pc, no pros are playing on a console. So maybe that issue is just a console thing.

Ah. Can't watch at the moment. I assumed before that it was a controller issue in general. The input latency is just as bad wired IIRC.

Real question is: why play the game if the game plays itself?

Games that allow MnK should be giving controllers aim assist to a point where both devices end up somewhat equal. You will hear both sides complain the other is OP, I have a billion times, but that is just because most people can't admit when someone else is better than a videogame than they are.

Now I don't follow pro eSports and have no idea what Freeburner is talking about, although I trust he isn't just making stuff up like Coal does. But that is for pro gamers, where a fraction of a percentage of an advantage can make a difference.

I agree. Any game that has cross play needs to have some degree of auto aim for consoles. It wouldn't be fair otherwise.

It's alot different at a pro level though. You're talking about players who will not miss a shot in an entire clip, God tier tracking and recoil control.... Now swap them from mnk to a controller and add in a massive amount of aim assist, it's very hard to compete against these players at close range where aim assist is maxed out.

I don't have the image anymore but a few months back there was a thread about this subject and I posted a picture of the top 10 fraggers in the last apex Lan tourney, like 8/10 were controller

Not gonna bother researching because don't care but if that's actually the case then by using a PS5 controller you're sacrificing superior ergonomics for an absolute miniscule difference of input latency which the 99.98% of humans wouldn't be able to discern.

And to the dumbass above who stated competitive FPS games are better on a controller rather than keyboard and Mouse delete your post. You're lowering the average IQ of this already low IQ thread.

The problem is a lot of these games have the aim assist so high that it's basically an aimbot. COD vanguard was really bad from personal experience.

Hell even MW2019 was bad. I played that on on PS4 with 16 horizontal sens. Basically move the stick anywhere with someone on screen, ads and slam the trigger.

I didn't realize how bad it was until I went back to M&K.

My info is from watching and following professional apex legends.

In apex legends, the controller auto aim is so strong, many pro players have switched because when it's end game in pro apex, movement isn't as important as aim.

You can try to disagree, but you're just wrong. Apex legends, halo, cod, are all dominated by controller pros on pc.

Csgo, valorant, overwatch, etc, do not have aim assist for controllers, so yes, mouse and keyboard remains the dominant input for those games.


Please stop talking about what is low IQ when you simply don't understand that certain games have shifted the meta in fps, and controller is the dominant input. You are looking at this like it's 2010, times have changed.

Heres one of the best mouse and keyboard players in pro apex talking about the state of controllers in apex legends.





You could have simply done a quick Google search and not looked like a complete retard

KB&M boomers are getting old, their skills are declining to the point where zoomers on modern controllers (dualsense) with max sensitivity are getting the drop on them, so they cope by doing a 180 on the narrative, 'controllers are actually better for FPS games now'.
