If someone has 3 or more pets, they're mentally unwell.

I've noticed this over my lifetime.

Seems like 2 dogs, there's still a semblance of a healthy mind.

Add to that 3 cats, a tortoise, a parakeet, etc.... The more pets, the higher likelihood of insanity.

Message from Ron

The greatest privilege of all❣️

Would any of you like to have the privilege of being saved? Some people wrongly think that to avoid hellfire and go to heaven after death, you must earn it. We don't know when we will die but you can get saved right now and be sure that your soul will go to heaven after death. God sent his perfect Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, into the world to save our souls. Jesus paid for our wrongdoing with his blood, dying on a cross†, and in three days Jesus rose from the dead so that we could be forgiven and so that our souls could go to heaven after our life ends. Jesus Christ is very kind-hearted. God describes heaven as beautiful and eternally joyful place for those believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and what he did for them. If anyone of you who will believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and what he did for you, SAY, Praise the Lord Jesus. Praise the Lord Jesus❣️ You may copy and share the message on social media if you would like to. Goodbye now.

The more pets or kids that you have, the more likely that they won't get what they need. It's a sad truth, but try explaining that to a Catholic or ex Catholic. jfl. That leaves a bystander with two options. 1. refuse to be conscripted into taking care of someone else's kids/pets etc and deal with being blamed later on. 2. become an enabler and a slave to someone else's choices, but save the dogs and kids.
Neither choice is comfortable.
It's so, so much more humane if people just be realistic about what it entails to take care of other living creatures.

kind of agree but only for household pets

i want to have a homestead one day and grow my own food and livestock but i dont think livestock would count towards that

i do get grossed out when people have lots of indoor cats though. my mom has just 1 cat and the hair is insane.

I think energy and total maintenance requirements are better indicators.

Like if someone has 2 self-sufficient short-hair cats that don't fukk up the furniture, and 1 'normal' dog (so not a fukking yappy little piece of chit that needs to go out like 14 times per day, or a cotdam newfie that requires a ton of maintenance, high cost, etc.) like a lab or something, it's fine.

But these fukkers with like 3 huskies and then get like 2 cats that are long-hair and little princesses..... fukk no. Literal chaos all the time.

Have you considered that maybe it's the people with less than 3 pets that are actually the weird ones, and that you're just mistaken trying to interpret what the baseline for normal is?

If somebody has three pets thataren’t well cared for. IMO, operative part of this should be whether or not the pets are well cared for and time is allocated for them.

It’s the level of chaos, not the amount of pets.

Most people with pets are needy losers who aren't loved by humans. It's not always the case though, especially with people who are into hunting, hiking, raising livestock, etc.

Not everyone is sought after. Elders and neurodiverse people still need some form of love, and without pets, they wouldn't get it. Sure, there are some people who just want everyone who isn't male, 6ft 5 inches and from 14-25 to kill themselves, but everyone deserves some love. You're very lucky that you get human companionship, but for many, pets are all the family they have. There's no reason to scorn those who are different.

Have you ever met a cat? Us cat lovers enjoy being ignored and used by our pets, thus we're not needy.

This sloot makes a decent point. We should let the genetically inferior get some love too. It's not always their fault that people ignore them
