Been a while since I posted any car stuff. Our track car build is coming along finally. I had to wait on some specialized parts from the UK to get made and sent over. Car is now fully dry sumped. Van Diemen sump pan, pace 3 stage pump, Peterson Fluid systems tank...etc. Pretty much have to with the sequential transmission. (cant keep an oil pump from eating itself alive with the stress that that the sequential puts on it. Plus, above 6500 rpm, the stock oiling system starts to fall off. With the sequential and close ratio, it will be rare that the rpm ever drops below 6000!

For those that dont know, this will be going in a lotus. Highly modified motor that we built. Little 1.8L should be putting out about 430hp. Car will weigh approx 1650-1700lbs when done. Full blown race car (not street legal on this one like my white wide-body).


Fun things to come. My son is super excited. We just did a two day even in Georgia two weeks ago and he officially ran a faster lap time by 3/10 than I was able to put down all weekend. Life is good, and his grin was well deserved.
