Jenkins also revealed that her office was not going to press charges against the security guard.

The video, CCTV from the Walgreens store, shows Brown getting into a fight with the security guard before breaking free, exiting the store and being shot.

When asked about clarifying the situation about the encounter between Brown and the security guard, Jenkins said "What he (the security guard) said was that he saw a movement that led me to believe something dangerous was about to happen to me. Could have been a knife, could have been whatever it was," she said.

"The law doesn't require that you wait and see, is it a gun, is it a knife, is scissors? The law allows you to have a perception and a belief so long as it's reasonable," she added.
