Spurs Get Number One Pick - Victor Wembanyama

Oh chit son, it’s over for the league. One of the best raw talents in decades joins one of the best coaches of all time.

Tim Duncan might come back as a post skills coach. Tony Parker is likely gonna help develop him as a playmaker since they’re both Frenchmen.

Spurs about to be back on top.

Considering how careful he's been with every step of his life so far it wouldn't surprise me if he said to the league he wants to be coached by Pop and they made it happen.

If that’s the case, I applaud the underhanded play by Silver. He might have owed Pop a favor or two.

Man, I feel as if Pop is overrated like a mofo. We will see if I'm wrong, but I feel like Pop needs a min. of 3 HOF on his team just to win a playoff series.

There are glowies on the misc now. Don't fall for the bait.

This would be my main concern. He's not used to playing with massive guys who are very physical. He needs to put on about 30 pounds at least or he's going to get tossed like a rag doll.

KD did all right and he’s always been a twink, but then again we have guys like Zion who get paid to be suit models.

Every coach with a lot of wins had the luxury of multiple hof players. Phil Jackson is considered an all time great and he had MJ and Pippen for one run, and Shaq and Kobe for the other.

I’m staying hopeful this kid comes in and becomes a cornerstone for the team like Tim Duncan before him.

I don't think it's a huge problem. He's young so he might even fill in naturally. Guys like Giannis, AD, Porzingis came in underweight but were able to fill in just fine.

Understandable why he’s the consensus top pick. Going to stick to my guns though and say someone like Brandon Miller will have a better career.
