It changed me. It messed me up for a good 6 months.

My sisters and my mother, got dealt a bad card and watched my dad die one night after dinner the October before last.
He was watching tv and started complaining of a sore arm, after about 2 minutes and us calling an ambulance he fainted on the couch and stopped breathing what followed was horrific and I'll spare the details, He was 60.

You start to think about why we are here, what's the point in anything we do.
I've come to the conclusion it is to have fun and give zero fuks, so I stopped giving a fuk about work and most things in general.

Yep, two of my friends have suicided since late 2020.


The first was a doctor, just turned 30, was under so much stress from Covid and lockdowns and all that chit, plus the regular work of a doctor, that he had a psychotic episode and thought he had to sacrifice himself for the human race's survival. Took a swandive off of the top of an office building.

The second was the brother of the first, one of my best friends. He was in mental hospital for a self-harm attempt and complained about his pants falling down, and some moron had the bright idea of bringing him a belt. He fashioned a noose out of it later that evening. Only been 3 months since he's gone.

Nobody dies on my watch

They sound they like a genetically predisposed to mental illness? Their poor mother losing both sons to suicide...fuark.

Definitely predisposed to mental illness, all it needed was the right trigger. The second one loved weed and smoked it like a chimney, so no doubt that factored into his mental decline as well. And yeh, his mum is a mess to say the least.


Just goes to show, no matter how bad stuff may get, never check out. It'll devastate those around you.

At age 16 I watched my 19 year old brother take his last breath from an aggressive cancer in his hospital bed. He had Ewing’s sarcoma. Turned me extremely cold and aggressive for many years(maybe even still now but I’m much better compared to the old me)
