Lets be honest.

The pictures look stupid as hell. Not knocking him or his work, just being honest.

The thing that makes him a recognized master is not his wonderful technique but the fact that he can make these stupid looking pictures and stand proudly next to them in front of a bunch of rich people like he just produced the worlds greatest masterpiece. And do it with a straight face without busting out laughing at the prices they are going to pay.
