Any kettlebell crew here? (srs)
Wondering if any of you boyos use any kettlebells in your workouts or as part of conditioning work. been thinking of adding KB work for conditioning + extra work to target the posterior chain to make it stronger.
tired of low back pain flare ups srs. i think some KB work + nonstop core work daily will help out. but wanted to see if any you boyos do swings, etc and results.

Wouldn't really recommend it. You can get a solid conditioning workout in with KB's but to be honest moving weight ballistically while fatigued is asking for trouble long term. I doubt KB's would help your lower back. Try out the 12 minute foundation workout on youtube, seems fairly legit for low back and can be done every day

Do it, love some kettlebell swings. Lots you can do with kettlebells - turkish getups, goblet squat and lunge variations, swings, throws, cleans...They're great.
While you're at it, get some bands and do some core rotations, chops, etc. It'll help your lower back immensely - those transverse plane movements are key.

Yh OP I use them in about two workouts a week. Kettlebell weight ranges from 16-30kg depending on rep and where I do the movement in the routine.
One will be simply swings.
Both hands 1 x 25
Alternative Single hand 1 x 20
Double swings
1 x 12-16
1 x 8-12
Next session will be
Banded swings
2 x 10-16
Kettle cleans
1 x 10 alternatives
1 x 6
1 x 3
Goblet squats
1-2 x close to failure
Turkish get ups
2 x 10-16 alternating sides.
Pretty low volume and never swing or clean to total fatigue as I’m conscious of my lower back. I don’t do them at all when barbell squats are part of the routine.
Make sure your tekkers with them is good though as they can easily wreck your spine.
Pretty sure they keep lower back in check. Also keep the core solid and movement explosive. Worth doing IF you’re doing them safe… stay safe OP
