Yea banks are the ultimate bluepill to swallow. It's the same in the US. Banks just offer a service. Good service but realize that it's all just numbers and they can basically do as they please.

This is a big reason I have a lot of money in gold and silver for general savings instead of my bank. Retains value too and doesn't just get eaten away from inflation.

A lot of peopel especially older people ar ebeing hit by scams.

My friend smum gave scammers something like 4k. Basically this is to protect stupid old people form giving their money to indians.

No doubt because of all the stupid old idiots who get scammed on the phone & get told to go into their bank & withdraw large sums. Clearly the cash point cannot ask you questions, it is purely for the oldies using the counter service.
