Almost paralyzed my leg

Was laying in bed doing groin stretch with knees and hips bent and letting knee fall down to side, to get stretch in groin muscles. Well I stretched my left side a little harder than normal because it feels more tight than the right side.

I probably laid there in the stretch position for 10 minutes and when I tried to move it I couldn’t move my leg, it was complete deadand it felt like the nerve was severed

It feels better now but what if I paralyzed my leg, what if this is permenent? Pls help has this every happened to anyone else, thx

The outer part of my left quad is permanently numb. Not sure why. Doesn't effect my lifting at all I though

Sounds like you caused axon necrosis from cutting the blood supply to the sciatic nerve. It will never be as strong as it used to be but it shouldn't affect you too much as long as you never want to get into running or squats

Brutal. You'll be okay though brah. Just keep moving it around a bit. I'm guessing if it was that bad you would have noticed some discoloring and pain instead of just the numbness.

If I can tear my quad and have it roll up a bit not even notice for 2 years then you'll be okay. Just thought I strained it and it only hurt when I kicked a soccer ball with it for about 2 weeks.

Haha I actually remember that. And yea it was the top of my quad and rolled down a little but. Now there is s little space and then the rolled up muscle that I always thought was just a knot in my leg or something until an athletic trainer said "holy **** you tore your quad?"
