clip of apex legends console aim assist

couple of pros reacting to the absolutely absurd amount of aim assist consoles provide

in apex legends consoles get .6 aim assist, on PC controllers get .4

this is what its like on console. pretty wild

Yeah I've heard of the amount of aim assist controllers get in general is pretty noticeable.

I see a lot of Masters and Preds running controller on PC.

Speaking of that I've been getting rolled by Preds and Masters in Gold II lobbies.

Pubs are much less sweaty this season though.

they fukked ranked up this season. the matchmaking system is all goof'd up, preds and masters getting mixed in with plats.

and also made it so you dont even have to fight people to rank up, its all based on placement now. so you have people hiding til end game and getting a ton of points for it.

this also caused a massive spike in the number of pred/master players since its much easier to obtain

controller players in general have the strongest aim assist in this era of gaming than they ever had before


i'm also not a fan of the new apex rank system.. got multiple games where i got 5-8 kills but placed like 8th place and didn't get much points at all, but other games were we didn't encounter anyone til the last top 4 teams and got 2nd place and got bunch of points. aka don't even land with your team and just be a rat and get yourself ranked up

NRG sweet, a pro player, did a "challenge" where he reached predator without firing his gun at all.

They will almost certainly revert the changes or fix them somehow, ranked is pretty much ruined

A lot of players share your complaints. Not to mention you can't even see the rank of your teammates or know your "hidden MMR", which is dumb. It kind of makes me feel like they keep that stuff hidden because the system is still fuked and they don't want us to know or something lol.

Yeah, it kind of sucks that kills pretty much don't matter until you make the top half of the lobby.

The only positive about that change is that the final rounds have been really chaotic (and fun) with anywhere from 7-10 teams fighting in a much smaller space. Positioning and rotation seems to be even more important because of that.

To be fair, consoles are typically on a much larger screen, so it shouldn't be too surprising they up the aim assist. I remeber when we use to have HALO link party's and we'd all bring our small T.V.'s to a friends house..I was a sniper headshot GOD on my 19inch SONY, if I played on a bigger TV, it was much harder

It's worth a try, easy to pick up but difficult to master.

I have a theory I suck at COD, Apex and these games with heavy aim assist because when I aim down sight I start to move the right joystick to where the target is moving and often miss, the aim assist messes with accuracy since it doesn't account for player actually trying to aim.

Might be cope tho
