The WNBA team Phoenix Mercury coach complained about the turnout in Brittney Griner's second game following her Russian detainment.

Los Angeles hosted the game Saturday between the Mercury and the Los Angeles Sparks, welcoming 10,396 fans into the Crypto.com stadium, per ESPN. While Griner scored 18 points in 25 minutes, her coach, Vanessa Nygaard, shared her disappointment with reporters after the game that they hadn't sold out the arena's capacity at just over 19,000.

I still only know her name because of the fiasco where she got jailed in Russia. Didn't Uncle Joe trade away some murderous Russian spy we had prisoner or some chit to get her back to the U.S., too? After how much she shat on her own country publically, and all.

I’m trying to think of the minimum amount of money I would need to be given to see a wnba game, especially with grimey.
I’m thinking bare minimum 1k, food and transport also provided but not a part of the 1k.
And that is on a week day, where I get a paid day off work. If I had to waste a weekend day the price would go up to 5k.

This. I'd need to be paid money to attend a WNBA game, and that's assuming they let me mess around on my phone the whole game without paying any attention to it.
