The reasons are even dumber than I thought they'd be. It's essentially "it disturbs the ecosystems and animals". So in an environmentalists minds, people suffering isn't as bad as disturbing the ecosystems and animals. Interesting.

Don't hoomans depend on animal ecosystems though? Besides, you can make do with the space that's already been modernized. Stop fkn with the animals. And nobody wants to see a chit ton of fast food joints when they go on a drive down the streetz.

If you're talking about fracking, there are issues with the practice causing earthquakes. So you jave places like Oklahoma experiencing as many earthquakes as California. Even if they aren't large in magnitude it still damages roads and property.

Pipelines have the lowest environmental impact per ton of product shipped over their service life than any other form of transport, and its not even close.

Pipelines got really bad after Warren B bought every rail line from Alberta to north Texas, I am sure it's a total coincidence.

Energy companies are gonna make it man.

You don't have to shill for them. They already bought the government.

The environment and human effect on it are just another distraction/division/money making tool. On both sides.

The entire conversation is pointless.

You should see the chit we deal with on the projects, I was on the Canadian side of Keystone XL before it was axed and have been all over the place with LNG, oilsands mines, etc

Have tracked eagle sightings, seen toad migration mitigation plans, shut down an entire work front a couple years ago after a Peregrine Falcon made a nest in it, we track and report when a single drop of fluid comes out of a piece of equipment and hits the ground.

The falcon probably cost that one project over $1m
