Anyone dealt with a woman that had BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder)?
(I posted this in RH but it's dead)
Holy ****, I thought I met the most amazing, perfect, relatable woman of my life for the first 2-3 months, then it all came crashing down
I had no idea what BPD was until I researched after the fact. A woman that is unable to see grey areas, she only sees people are good or evil. She either loves you or hates you. No inbetween.
After 2-3 months of her worshipping me, she completely hates me and has not spoken a word to me in 10 days over some silly **** (something a healthy woman would forgive in an hour). In some ways I think I'm lucky... Hopefully she never comes back if they are truly as violent and conniving as people say.
Has anyone dealt with BPD women?
I won't put on a front, my heart is broken but I know time will help

I dated one a couple of years ago, and my buddy is dating one now.
First the girl I dated, it was both the highest and lowest point of my life.
My buddies GF tried to have sex with me while I was over at his house the other night, while he was there.

Yep. One of the hottest girls I ever dated and she was also the craziest. Would be wanting sex six times one day and then throwing things at my head the next.

Yep. They can be a lot of fun the first couple of months, but inevitably the crazy gets to be too much. Her going NC is honestly for the best.

"Women are far more likely to be diagnosed with BPD than men. In fact, about 75% of people diagnosed with BPD are women"
"One recent study concluded that BPD affects approximately 6.2% of women"
A little over 1 in 20, seems reasonable that many here would have dated one at some point.

I kind of suspect this whole shrink culture of making up a bunch of horse chit. There are like a thousand different kinds of crazy according to them, and it gets a little hard to believe after a while. psychology isn't any kind of real science, it's just subjective bs.

Yeah I dated one, took a long time to heal from that. First few months felt like heaven on earth, then the crazy and mental illness and cruelty erupted...

I did for a year, many say they have dated a BPD but there's degrees of it. Mine was clinically diagnosed and had been on various medications and attempts at therapy but BPD is almost impossible to treat.
Someone else put it best it will be one of the best experiences of your life and possibly the worst.
I liken it to heroin addiction. That relationship ****ed me up for years afterwards and I probably still have residual issues from it almost 5 years on.
Her next boyfriend after me roped and his parents found him so I guess I was lucky.
BTW when her roped (which was caused by her cheating on him and all the mind games) she complained that she wasn't center of attention at his funeral, that's what we are dealing with when we talk about real BPD, psychopathic levels lacking empathy.

BPD has a very specific framework in how their brains operate, and they all operate the same
They treat you like a god for the first few months, you are perfect to them, and then they "split" (google it) and do a 180, thinking you're a demon that is worth nothing and the worst thing in their lives (they will truly believe a normal caring guy is an abusive piece of ****)
Then a few days/weeks later, they go back to normal and realize what they did and come crying back to fix it, rinse repeat

I absolutely loathe people with BPD. Literally every single interaction with them is all about them finding ways to create stupid drama and find ways to try to manipulate people. They're terrible to be around even as basic associates when you recognize the behavior, so I have absolutely no idea what would compel someone to actually want to be in a romantic relationship with someone like that.
And yeah, believe me, I know all about the intense, crazy, wild sex that batchit women can give a man. I get that it can be blinding to an extent. However, BPD women are just so incredibly unbearable to deal with imo, then no amount or quality of sex with a BPD woman could come even close to justifying it.

its not, there is a 90% remission rate within 10 years, that means 90% of BPD people can eventually live normal lives if they actually seek help, 35% of them are living normal lives within 1 year
thats pretty huge for lifelong trauma
maybe that rope girl was the 10% that is insane enough to manipulate her therapist, etc, or actually enjoyed ruining lives (psychopath)

These "numbers" are commonly flung around now when they weren't 10 to 15 years ago and the reason why is political. They can't be admitting that 6% of women are running around with a virtually untreatable mental illness, that would not be politically correct.

The issue is we are in a society now which enables all of their bad behaviours, it sort of comes under the sphere of feminism "she can do whatever she wants"
Combine that with the fact the illness itself detaches them from reality and changes their entire mood on a dime, and that's why it's almost impossible to treat, there's virtually no way to get them to commit to the work, they will do it for a few weeks and decide they are cured.

Yeah OP, quite a few.
They’re very emotionally intense, passionate, can be hyper sexual, great in bed…. But also the type to stab you in your sleep, lie without shame, destroy your life if they feel scorn and their feels always trump the rational reality unless they’ve possible been going therapy and know what they have.
Juice isn’t worth the squeeze.
Combine it with narcissism and you have yourself a amber heard like psycho. Run away from those or don’t interact, srs. They can’t be helped or fixed and just about always see kindness as a type of weakness

I agree that reality is not on their side and a lot of them think they don't need help and they blame society lol all we can do is avoid them
