its proven that if you have a 2nd cousin or closer whose done the test your privacy is through the window already, better to know whats going on than to avoid the fact that these test exist and there are lots of breakthroughs taking place

Also, I do not subscribe to the whole "well the damage is done, so why not participate" idea.

I mean, what is a good reason for an individual to do it? Something that is worth the money, and the forfeiture of certain aspects of privacy.

sure there are countless videos of people finding out that they have siblings and are actually related to a whole other family, one lady told me she found out her sister was her mother and thus her mom was actually her grandmother. Anyhow I wont overwhelm you guys with the youtube videos on that you can search up all the stories yourself, the very first story i heard of was an irish boy who found out he was switched at birth and he was actually Jewish.
