Source has always been my go-to CS experience. The old 1.6 was a bit before my time, by the time I was getting into online multiplayer HL2 and Source engine was all the rage, and CS Source was probably one of my favorite games for a while, back when it was high-end gaming to be playing that on a Windows XP gaming PC.
Heck even today it's the one I like to go back to just to play some quick matches with AI. They actually let you set it up however you like, so it's better than GO when it comes to that. Heck even when it comes to multiplayer I always enjoyed the dedicated servers and more social and relaxed feel of Source over the modern competitive gaming sweatbox feel of GO.
