Yeah I took it for 8 years with no issues... Then it fukked me up. I accidently double dosed one day and it was game over.

Um.. the downfall started in like 09/10. Then was on and off until 2016. But was always on some kind of stimulant. Did a lot of mdma and coke but high dose ******** was my drug of choice. I agree with you, ******** has a really dark and insidious spirit to it. Everybody I knew who had a prescription got hooked to it eventually.

I was prescribed 90mg a day when I was in 6th grade middle school. I took 30 3x a day. I had a research paper due my senior year of highschool and procrastinated so double dosed and took 60mg to help me focus. I was 17 or 18, naive and had no idea what ******** actually was. Hadn't even been drunk at this point. But fuk I felt good, I wrote my 12 page research paper, got a 96% on it. It was the highest grade in the class. Not only did I write my paper, I stayed up all night and talked to friends and felt like superman. Then I started double dosing before school. It wasn't long before I was railing massive lines. Was able to talk the doctor into giving me a 120mg prescription. At one point I was railing up to half a gram a day. Would do that for a week straight all strung out and would crash hard. Would run out of my prescription so would look for other stimulants and started drinking hard and taking downers. I played college football as a freshman and was able to hold it together during the season but once foot ball was over I spiraled into hell and ended up homeless. Went from national honors society in high school and playing college football to living in a snack in the middle of the woods getting all strung out. It was winter in Minnesota and brutal. I had no heat and no water. Just a mattress in a shack. I'd get a gallon of water from a resort nearby at night and sometimes it would freeze solid. for a while I was only eating 1-2 meals a week cause you don't feel hungry on speed. It got real dark.

Same story with alcohol. I became alcoholic and was kicked out of every house I lived in while couch surfing. Family tried to help me but I didn't want it. Until some really bad things happened and I got sober at 26. I had to hit rock bottom like 100 times before I became willing to change and take responsibility. 32 now and live a totally different life. Addiction can be overcome and it is possible to live a happy and successful life.
