ToTK is over-rated

-Same giant ass map with barely anything to do just like BotW
-Weapons break after 3 hits
-Barely any customization settings, can only re-map and switch the jump and dash buttons, feels very awkward to dash→jump
-There are no combos you can do with attack, you only have 4 options, guard, parry, flurry, or spam attack
-same crappy enemy variety
-game is $70 lmao

It's no Honkai Star Rail but if ppl want to waste time playing a 20 FPS weapon durability simulator then more power to them I guess

and saying it's overrated isn't even saying it's a bad game, but perfect 10's across the board are laughable

I couldn't even bring myself to continue playing it after a couple of days lol

It's an impressive game due to the scale of it imo


But I agree it's not that enjoyable

There are parts where it is but just due to the size of the map there is A LOT of endless wandering

Whereas if you compare it to enden ring, the map is massive as well but you are constantly finding something of interest.

If you're playing either botw or totk blind you could go literally 4-5 hours of playing and find nothing

I've started to use map guides to find shrines, otherwise it'll take forever

Edit: also the building part is fuking ghey

Took me a few day to realize the botw was just a boring empty world. Don't know why people thought this would be any better it looks the exact same. It's a game intended to appeal to kids. So those of us with adult tastes get bored of it RQ

True. I think a big reason kids can enjoy it so much is how it's pretty much a "my first open world action/adventure title" for a lot of them.

For a lot of us older gamers, we have been playing open world games like this for many years, and have very high standards when it comes to that. Switch games appeal most to people with low or no standards.

Just give it some more time, seems like as the initial hype is dying down people are starting to see this game for what it really is
