This can all be avoided if you maintain proper personal boundaries. A person can only detective you if you share information that allows them to.

You can share a lot of info on the internet, and as long as you don't tell people your address, work, name, you should be ok.

True I got a bit paranoid after Brad got doxxed

Paranoid about things like I hinted at the type of job I do etc .

I wouldn't post direct face pics of girl I'm interested in bc too many reverse image search detectives

Just gotta be careful enough not to release info that could narrow it down to just you .


And also how did brads employer even connect that it was him ? Unless there was a pic of him in the thread , clearly they had to dig around a bit to make that connection

Yeah, it's fuked up. Unless Brad did something to someone personally (like tried to dox them himself, or wish someone else their dog would die or something) I could never imagine someone having enough hatred to do that. And knowing Brad I highly doubt he would do the things I just mentioned to someone else.
