I just had a really good idea for a new streaming channel. Twitch, YouTube, twitter, you could stream it anywhere with very little work on my part. I can’t go into too much detail without you signing an NDA but basically the idea is this: all the channel is, is a screencapin video of a single iPhone. The only app we see is the text message app. All it is is text convos between the phone owner (is it you? Or are you peering over somebody’s shoulder learning about their life? That’s part of what makes this really fun. Obviously they’ll be funny/interesting convos but it is purely a storytelling effort, no actors needed.

People would stream these vids and just leave it up. When a new message comes in the video plays the iPhone chime. But replies come back at random times. We’d play off of the dopamine hit that people get when they receive a new text message, and tie in a compelling story as well.

Unfortunately this would all take a lot of work. We’d have to code a platform where the “actors” aka programming could execute its programmed convo at random intervals which would then be played “live” on stream. All this programming and hard work is where you come in. I brought the idea, now you bring the work. We can split tips 50/50.
