Posted this in another thread and I'm not one-sided about it either. Got into a political argument with my dad and he was parroting MSNBC. Before I let into him I realized a lot of Americans are listening to Tucker Carlson & chit, doing exactly what he does. Just echo chambers and demonization of opposing viewpoints as if we don't live on the same continent. Or as if we don't have real competition in this world. Unfortunately this will fall on deaf ears because politics has never been about compromise....just about control. But we are at a fork in the road where we have to decide if we will stick together and control our future or let ****ing B*ICS & Chang be united enough to undo all of our hard work since 1776. Election year 2024 is gonna be like last night's Game 3 of the Finals. We're either gonna get through this together or ****ing fall apart shortly after the election. Sort your **** out America. Literally letting China & Russia bankroll our intrastate relations. These people aren't even smart enough to influence world pop culture or create a good life for their countrymen but they are finessing the **** out of us and it makes me sick every day.

I try not to get get too caught up in it all because it can consume you but I do hold tight on some of my positions. One of the big things to take from it on my end is I'm sick of everything being pushed down my throat. For example, If someone wants to be trans I really don't care if they keep it to themselves but don't try to tell me it's ok and I should accept it as normal because it's not. How is that any different than someone that smokes crack. If you wanna smoke crack go for it but don't push the pipe my way.

Also, you're wrong on the schools comment. You've only seen it in 3 schools. I'm in an extremely rural area and a 10 year old kid in my daughters class is telling everyone he's gay and they are literally teaching young kids about trans people and having them research it. None of this is acceptable and I can't just roll over and think that I should allow it to become normal. If you don't stand up for what you believe in then who are you...
