Boss Bug Out Rig: The Incred-i-Beast
Walk through of a custom built go anywhere RV/THOW.
No production value whatsoever, it rambles a bit and there is a good bit of noise and people wandering in and out working. Said their part working on it is wrapping up and it is on the way to Nashville for a bunch of custom cabinets.
But all the features though. I think that they have incorporated nearly everything you might find in an off grid RV + a Tiny Home On Wheels. It has been under construction for around 6 months at a guess as the owner has added to and changed the project.
From memory:
- solar panels + 6 lithium ion batteries
- 2 big propane tanks
- dual fuel generator with an interior ignition switch
- mini split system
- air exchanger
- propane fueled space heater
- water filtration and purification system + 100 gallon fresh water tank
- self-leveling power jacks + special off road tires w/a mounted spare
- awning + pull out steps + fold down aluminum porch
- fully double wired for both AC and DC
- security cameras mounted at multiple locations
- refrigerator which can run on AC/DC/propane + propane cook top + combo microwave convection oven
- 48" shower, bathroom sink/mirror + incinerating toilet [no black tank]
- reclining love seat + 55" TV
- built in queen sized bed with storage + bunk overhead w/ladder
The purchaser is a personal friend of the owner of the company and besides regular family outings is planning to take his son out to bike [pedals] from Canada to Mexico.
Oh, and it is built with metal/foam insulated panels which have a crazy high R value and can withstand thousands of pounds of snow too.
