Ask a guy considering buying a New double cassette deck in 2023 anything?
so I'm thinking about buying a brand new double cassette deck for my stereo system, new TEAC w1200.
it has Karaoke features and USB PCM output so I can digitize my Vinyl, make mix tapes.

How much? I have a solid JVC with some of those same specs. The hard part is finding cassette tapes that aren't outrageously overpriced.

2 Turntables with their own phono pre amps
2 CD players
Pre amplifier/ power amplifier
A pre amp just to control the dual stereo subwoofers
A Equalizer for the Main speakers
A separate headphone amp with its own EQ
I also have a good Bluetooth reciever hooked up to it that has APTXHD so if I stream its very good upsampled to 24bit
I also have a PS3
I want to Add this double cassette deck and maybe a LaserDisc player
I like physical media. it makes me happy, streaming is dumb

I almost got a Sansui equalizer/amp combo but was outbid on it. Probably for the best it didnt even have a remote which for any amp is super convenient.

I used to have a nice light up audiosource EQ in the 90's
now my EQ is just plain but its a good one
My amplifier has nice VU meters though now

speaking of Cerwin Vega's I kinda want a pair for the nostalgia,,,gotta love a big pair of speakers
I got a pair of nice standmont 2 way ELAC's carina's and dual 8 inch B&W stereo subs,,,they really smoke any old pair of vegas but a double stack of big speakers has a different sound, not a crystal clear but BIG sound.even if its not loud...its engaging and dynamic though not as detailed and crystal crispy.
