ITT: we pay tribute to the man known as SID (vicious)

Standing 6 feet 7 inches and weighing a legit 320 plus, the behemoth, the phenomenon, the loose cannon, SID.

One of wrestlings greatest "what if's", Sid had size, look, intensity, and he could go well enough in the ring.

Sid was a real wildcard though, preferring to play softball than wrestle half the time, he had no patience for politics required to be in the top spots at a time when master politicians like Hogan and HBK were running things.

I think the biggest tragedy was Sid breaking his leg horrifically right near the end of WCW. Had that not happened they might have been able to use sid for the WCW which would have added much needed star power in a former WWE fan favourite.

We also could have seen cool matches like Sid vs Kane, Brock, Batista and others.

I always thought this was hilarious. He is just a simple country boy who is funny w/o even trying to be.

Is it weird that this thread makes me want to see Sid scissor with the Acclaimed?
Thus, a good man, though a slave, is free; but a wicked man, though a king, is a slave. For he serves, not one man alone, but what is worse, as many masters as he has vices. - Saint Augustine

Still can’t believe how easy he kicked out of Hogan’s leg drop WM8. That’s a tough pill to swallow
