I played like 15ish hours at launch and never had any issues but just moved on

Revisted over the last 2 weeks or so and God dannggg this game is fire.

First off the graphics.. My goodness. Phenomenal in every aspect. 5950x/3080ti playing with everything ultra, dlss on performance, getting 50-90 fps depending on location and what I'm doing. So, pretty broad range there. There's a mission during a parade and the city is flooded with npcs and stuff, dropped to like 40fps during that.

The environment is awesome, I think it's the best open world or at least top 3. Npcs seem just like GTA, they react, banter, etc.

The builds, seems like there's a ton of ways you can potentially make your character. I'm speccing 100 percent into being a shotgun demon so i can sprint around fast as fuk boyeeee and blast fools.

The story is great, the universe and it's details they created are pretty cool. They don't do traditional cgi cut scenes, everything is in game, so you play through all the conversations. It kind of drags some parts out, and at the beginning there is a ton of just walking and talking. But you can fast Foreward and still read the subtitles so it's all good. The npcs can be funny regarding this, you can run away mid conversation and they'll react accordingly like wtf are you doing. I thonk it makes the story more immersive.

Some side missions are really detailed and take a while, some are as simple as just knocking a dude out and walking away. Some are incredibly satisfying like the one where I blasted 2 ****files heads off. Good for you cyberpunk, I'm glad we are still able to murder p3dos.

Also I've tried to get my main character to have sex with every girl he's come across but no luck. I blew it with panam, tours over. If you know then you know.

I am not the biggest single player gamer so for a game to grab me like this it takes quite a bit.

I highly recommend to anyone who likes these single player open world games to revisit cyberpunk.


The game isn't without its issues still.

The biggest bug I ran into was a mission where I stealthed my way to the boss before I was supposed to do something else, it made me unable to continue the game completely. I had to load a previous save. But I looked online and it's a common bug, with a simple solution, I didn't even have to load my save again. Just a poor design for the level, you can sneak up to the boss before youre supposed to and that ****s up the mission.

There are other bugs here and there, but nothing worth talking about. It's very obvious why the game has these bugs, I think alot of it has to do with how they chose to make the entire story in the game versus using cut scenes. You also can climb and traverse almost anything so sometimes you can take an approach to a mission that the game might not have thought of and can be ****y, if the makes sense.


OK well that's it. I genuinely think anyone still talking bad about this game needs to revisit it.

Just lmfao at losers who still haven't played this masterpiece. You have to be absolutely retarded to still be taking other people's words and not trying it for yourself. Easy 9/10. Phantom Liberty looks like it will be just as good if not better. They have made the new DLC area look even better and more dense than the rest of Night City by dropping support for last gen consoles (which is completely insane to even think about since the base game is already by far the best looking game out now, period).

Why do you dick ride this game so hard? Console players got absolutely screwed at launch. How often to games get removed from the play store with refunds offered?

Maybe it was excellent at launch for PC, but last gen console players at launch got an absolutely slow, buggy mess with crazy frame drops, and that's coming from someone who enjoyed the game despite the HUGE problems. There's a reason they released a huge patch to fix things and add more content.

If you love it, great, but don't try to act like it was this perfect launch and all the hate was unjustified, because I was at ground zero.

The dumb lifeless NPC ruins the game for me. I enjoyed and beat the game, but getting halfway and after realizing how lifeless the NPC are, the game kinda falls flat



I plan on buying a Series X and hope Starfield turns out good. Bethesda Builds some real living breathing worlds

Cyberpunk are better than most, only Rockstar does better npcs.

I don't think they are lifeless, some are, some aren't. I play with the population density on max, there's a fuk ton of npcs, not all of them are gunna be good

Your post is cope. All the NPC are dumb and literally stand in one spot. It's like that Ed, Edd, and Eddy episode with the city full of cardboard.

Rockstar and Bethesda makes living breathing worlds which ruined a lot of open worlds. Red Dead Redemption 2 and Skyrim.

I'm making exact points about problems in a big budget, glowing reviewed game that hid the fact that it ran like ass on a next gen system. You also conveniently glossed over that fact that I said Ienjoyedthe game despite that. It isn't toxic. I didn't say the game overall sucked, nor did I say people were stupid for playing it like you like to do with basically any game you have no interest in, which seems to be all of them.

You would have to make some sacrifices to some settings but it would run fine and still look way better than PS5.

I have a 3070 and I run it at 3440x1440. It runs on high, but ultra and ray tracing aren't realistic with that GPU.

Skyrim in 2011 had NPC with 24/hr schedule. You could legit follow them around as if they were real people. That was 12 years ago. No excuses for the crappy NPC in Cyberpunk

If you read my old posts, I like Cyberpunk 2077 a lot, had the game preorded and waited till the next gen update. I wasnt fussing like most folks. I'm just disappointed after the realization the it's a shallow feeling city and didn't live up the it's true potential.

I beat the game after all the updates. That video is outdated, but npc were pretty much the same. Brainless and no REAL interaction. And they literally stand in one spot like manikins
