Should red dead redemption 2 have been an arcade shoot em up?

Lots of people on misc complain that the character moves too slow and picking things up is too slow.

Do you think the game would have been better if it was like a run and gun shooter with linear missions and skippable cut scenes for people who don't care about all that story crap?

Run and gun shooter? Fuk no.

But every game should have skipable cut scenes. For the dumb twats who don't like story, and for the cultured folk who are on their 3rd playthrough and don't need to see it again.

There's plenty of chit I complain about when it comes to RDR2, but a need to dumb it down isn't one of them.

LMFAO is this thread real life?

There's no way ANYONE who actually played the game would want that.

I've been trying to play it again recently. It is legit way too damn slow. When I'm searching my room I don't do everything in slow motion. There's nothing realistic about how god damn slow it is.

No, but they should've remade RDR 1 in the newer engine so post-Arthur people could play the entirety of RDR again. RDR is the funner game, RDR2 has the more realized characters and story.

I bought an Xbox One solely for this game. I remember doing a mission in the snow. I remember wandering around the home base and the town and doing a mission robbing a train. I remember trying to get the lady that gives you a bath to jerk me off and she wouldn't do it (realism my ass). The only other thing I remember is that almost anything I did got me in trouble with the police on horses and I couldn't have been more bored slowly walking around the place.

Oh wait, I do remember one night where I fell off a mountain on my horse and died and the horse died too and then I came back with another horse I found and subsequently jumped off the mountain again because I hit jump instead of dismount and we all had a great laugh. Wasn't worth $60 and certainly not worth getting an Xbox AND $60.

No, I did like how games like FarCry put an arcade type game within the game as you play through it though. That was kinda fun

K I just past 25% and the game is finally starting to get good. The game is better when played while drinking bourbon.

I also used a trainer for infinite gold because looting chit in this game is just too slow.

another undead nightmare add-on would probably be very successful.

i loved RDR2 but having that as a sidekick to the game with some faster-paced over the top action would be fun and fit the overall story if you had it take place in the epilogue.
