Anybody ever been abused by a catholic priest in here?

I am watching the movie Spotlight right now, I've seen it before, and its pissing me off just as much as the first time.

This is just the tip of the iceberg of things that the powerful entities, corporations, elites try to hide from the people. There is so much ****ed up stuff that happens that gets swept under the rug.

The Big Short was another movie that made me feel this way. Fk the system.

No and I bet the amount of people who claim to have been is wildly exaggerated.
There couldn't possibly be any other reason (other than at face value), for trying to discredit Christianity, right?
Right?

when i was 7 or 8 my dad went to confession and brought me along though i dont know why since i was just an innocent 7-8 year old and dont even remember what i confessed but i did it. thankfully nothing bad happened but looking back i cant believe my dad sent his little kid into a closed private room with a catholic priest jfl. i even got to talking with him about it not long ago he admits it was a bad idea.

Yeah I had to do confession a few times as a child. I remember being scared every single time.

Remember when everyone said they were?

Now it seems no one was.

Its like carpel tunnel syndrome. I swear that like 80% of people had it and were wearing these big wrist wrap things and getting surgery.

Now you never hear of someone having it and if you did you wouldnt even know what it is.

Funny how things that were suppose to be terrible and traumatic vanish as soon as the spotlight is turned off.

Nope, but a 10/10 approached me at the mall when I was around 20. She was gorgeous and friendly as hell. I got us food in the food court and then she pulled out a book (not the bible) and asked when was the last time I thought about how Jesus died for my sins.

I'm fairly open minded about religions but fuark I felt played. She didn't pay a cent for the chicken teriyaki.

Dont be an autist.
Maybe you took more than you fair share on Nintendo time?
Of course there are things children can ask to be forgiven for.

Or are you some retard who thinks it's good for kids to not eat their greens?

[insert 100 other reasons a kid might need to ask to be forgiven]

It's fukked up.
My buddy's uncle went to a Priest College in Philadelphia and he told me that his uncle is gay and admitted that the college was essentially one big gay orgy. Supposedly it was like a right of passage. Keep in mind his uncle went there in the 70s or 80s dont remember exactly when.

The church was cycling **** priest to different areas after they were caught and no one ever did anything about it for decades. The abuse would continue. Here is a current one that was brought up by a woman after a priest who previously abused people was transferred to her college.

Catholics make the most reliably successful families.

No alternative philosophy comes close.

Shame the quality is low here and there. Not that I'd trust those with feral or most other cultural backgrounds.

Not sure what your saying has to do with this topic. Germans make great automobiles, that doesn't make the holocaust okay.

I am not sure I agree with that statement but regardless if that was true or not it doesn't take away from the atrocities that the Catholic Church has taken part in.

Nah, while they made us do the catholic stuff in elementary school, I luckily reached the age of reason young enough to exit that nonsense. Friends did too so not sure what that would have looked like for us should we have stayed.

It's like the stuff of unethical experiments. You take a human male with an innate, strong urge to reproduce, you tell him he canneverbang anything until he dies, and then you wonder why he lusts after boy ass.

Organized religion of peace. Seems to be at least a few people ITT this morning who've chugged the coolaid ^^

No i have not, i was never that religious but it has been happening for decades.
There was a parent in DC holding up a sign in front of a church for years stating that his family member was molested.
He stood on Massachusetts ave in DC for years 6-8 hours a day!
It is really sad, and until recently they were just transferred to a new area.

here is a recent story....

There is an unspoken thing, we are iron brothers and sisters, we are to support each other and...It is our duty to support our brothers and sisters in the iron game!

This is what im talking about. Somehow a lot of these cases get settled behind closed doors and not through the courts and the priests just go on about their lives with no consequences. Gross stuff.

OP you should watch Sound of Freedom.

Anyways people should know that Catholicism is not Christianity. They don't even serve Jesus, the put Mary above Jesus. And it's not even the real Mary. They worship the Whore of Babylon. It's basically the Church of Satan. Look at places like Brazil where most of their population is Catholic yet their crime rate is the worst.
