I tend to sleep anywhere from 4-9 hours. If I'm consistently on the lower end, I'm capable of staying in bed "sleeping" (waking up a couple of times maybe) for 12 hours, srs. I'm not capable of this amount of sleeping otherwise. So therefore I believe if my sleep has been low quality or low numbers recently, then the suffering from not sleeping at all one day would be way worse.

yea this happens to me every so often. Just stay up for 2 days with no issues. Eventually, I get a good workout in and sleep like a baby that night.

I think humans can go one night or maybe two without any sleep and still be OK, but then it hits hard after that.

It's a sign that you could be in or heading into a manic episode.
