Baw gawd it's a slobber knocker
Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

We're no longer spring 2021 market, we're in July 2021 markets. BRB posting as I load my 4th Lambo onto a B-52 that I'm taking to ***** for the week. Thanks to the Biden economy I'll be smashing hookers and smoking as much crack as Hunter this month. #HunterEconomy

The deficit is ballooning, nearly triple for the same time period of the prior fiscal year.
https://www.npr.org/2023/07/13/11875...a-debt-ceiling
The deficit ballooned both because of a sharp increase in government spending and a significant drop in tax revenues.
Treasury officials blamed the falling revenues on reduced investment gains last year. The S&P 500 stock index, for example, fell nearly 20% in 2022, during a period of uncertainty about the economy. While the index has since rebounded, investors realized fewer capital gains last year, and paid less in capital gains taxes this year.
Overall, tax revenues between October and June were 11% lower than the same period a year ago."
At the same time, government spending jumped 10%. Spending on major health care programs such as Medicare and Medicaid rose sharply. Social Security payouts jumped 11%"

GDP up 2% in the last year, government spending up 10%. Huge increases in government deficits are what's keeping the US from being in a recession. Even though Covid spending dried up half a year ago this year's deficit is already far worse than the prior year's when there was still tons of pandemic spending going on.
About to finish off with a $1.8 Trillion deficit in a non-pandemic year. That's bigger than the first year of the Great Recession. Obviously we gotta keep sending Zelenskyy fhag more tanks and cluster bombs. That way Boomers and older kunts still in the federal government get the hot war they wanted against Russia during the 1970s-80s.
Honk honk, honkeys.

From Investopedia, a reminder:
:max_bytes(150000):strip_icc():format(webp)/dotdash_Final_Sine_Wave_Feb_2020-01-b1a62c4514c34f578c5875f4d65c15af.jpg)
Also

There's still some excess Covid Cash floating through the system, but it's fading. Like I've said before the markets should be good through the summer, but around September it would be wise to put your investments into high dividend yielding stocks and hold for several years. Hey maybe I'll be wrong and we'll have slow growth for a few years. I hope so. I'll lose a couple of points per year, but meh.
