Attention fashioncels - What would you wear to someone’s university graduation?
Is this a suit and tie type deal or shirt and trousers? Shirt and chinos?
Talk me through some ideas fgts
Edit : I currently have 2 pairs of Chelsea boots, one pair is tan and the other pair is black. Ideally would rather wear something that suits these, don’t want to have to buy shoes too

I'd wear my normal street clothes. It wouldn't even cross my mind to dress up specifically for that. It's not worth that much thought, even if you're closely related to the person graduating, it's about them. Don't lose sight of that.
Also, if you dress up as a crowd member just watching, you'll probably stick out like a sore thumb compared to most people there and look kind of weird for it.

Slacks and shirt and tie.
Thats a pretty big event and you should dress accordingly to respect it and to honor the persons hard work.

"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda
