This has always been a thing. Let's be serious... the only people that don't do it are Urban Youths, Astronauts, Engineers, etc because of muh reparations.

That’s her stupid fault. Plane lands. Seatbelt off. Stand up and block the isle. If you’re at the window seat and the idiot at the isle doesn’t get up just step over them.

Problem solved. Life isn’t this hard it’s just stupid people with stupid phones on social media fookin everything up.

I see the 'race to the door' more often than not on flights, from all walks of life. Maybe because it's usually a budget airline.

It used to not bother me that much, I'd sit there & wait, but over the years it got on my nerves more & more, so i joined the "Stand up and block the isle" crew.

That's always been the case. I just wait till everyone else leaves.

You have to be assertive or sit and wait. Sometimes people are polite and orderly. Sometimes not.

If you hate physically being on the plane any longer than absolutely necessary then wait to board until near the end of the process and get a seat near the front of the plane.

People who aren't getting bags from the overhead should be able to just walk off the plane without waiting for the boomers in front of them to get them down. That's the real slowdown. Some nappy headed ho a few rows back of you going first isn't a big deal at all compared to that.
