While he does have the screen presence of a Bond, I think he's too old for the role. For perspective, Daniel Craig was about 50 when he starred in hisfinalrole as Bond...and Idris is currently 55.

She made doctor who great again.

She definitely could take on the Bond franchise.

Gender swapping established characters brings in tons of new viewers and all the old heads are almost dead and don't go to the movies anyway. It's a win win!
