Hunter Biden plea deal falls apart after judge expresses Foreign Agent concerns

- Judge was concerned plea deal was too broad in protecting Hunter from future charges, and asked if it would protect Hunter from being charged in ongoing Foreign Agent Registration Act investigation
- Prosecutors said it would NOT protect Hunter from being charged as a Foreign Agent
- Hunter's lawyers said they understood it would protect him from Foreign Agent charges, so the deal is null and void
- Judge orders two sides to discuss it and will set a new court date to plead guilty or not guilty

UPDATE 3: Judge says she is not ready to accept Hunter Biden plea deal ... hearing ends with it on hold.

Hunter Biden -- in pro forma move -- enters a plea of NOT guilty for the time being.

Judge to Hunter Biden, “I know you wanted to resolve this. I’m sorry. But I need to make sure I am careful in my view of this.”

Interesting. That’s actually a huge blow to Hunter. He walked in the courtroom today thinking he had that bullchit misdemeanor deal ready to go, then the judge rejected it, they made a new one, judge rejected it again, grilled him on Burisma and CCP connections and made him walk away with no guarantees.

Are the walls closing in?

Or is this just a facade to give people the illusion of equal justice?

The new "Conditions of Release" for Hunter Biden have just hit the docket, signed by Judge Maryellen Noreika, who shelved Hunter's plea deal today

If Hunter does NOT comply with any part of the order, he could be immediately arrested

HUNTER IS REQUIRED TO:

1) NOT possess a firearm
2) NOT use or possess any controlled substances (including marijuana) unless prescribed
3) Submit to full federal supervision
4) NO use of alcohol AT ALL
5) Seek active employment
6) Submit to testing for prohibited substances
7) Participate in substance abuse therapy

PENALTIES FOR VIOLATING COULD INCLUDE:

1) Immediate issuance of an arrest warrant
2) Revocation of release
3) Forfeiture of bond
4) Prosecution for contempt of court
