The average 2 bedroom apartment here is 3.5k a month...

I might have to find a new place soon going from 2k a month to 3.5k. Even with making upwards of 145k a year it's still a struggle. Living on Maui man...

Meanwhile in a cheaper area my 2/1 is $1750. I thought this was too high, because pre-covid I had a 1/1 for less than $1k. I looked elsewhere and most 2/1's are $2k+ here, so I renewed my lease.
