Anyone regret going form Blue collar work to Office

Sitting at a desk is driving me insane...only make 1200 a week. Gone from the house form 7am to 630pm.

Turning 35 Thursday and just feeling like I'm starting to go insane typing on a keyboard all day.

Yes

Look up parts for vehicles, sell parts. Also handle accounting side of it.

Hate it.

I 100% miss working with my hands and the satisfaction of completing a pipefitting job. I definitely do go stir crazy now as I also work from home.

On the plus side, I don't have to sweat my balls of anymore working inside of ships, I can pretty much do what I please as long as my work gets done. For instance I recently bought a house and have been using all of my downtime during the work day to rennovate/do housework.

grass is always greener

there is something satisfying about finishing up a tough job with the homies and cracking an ice cold beer back at the shop before heading home

what i find more satisfying, is ****ing off most of the day

At this point the trade off/greener grass would be able to be home at a decent hour to spend time with my family and still being able to support them.

IE working form say 5am to 3 or 4pm

Me, 100%. Built better relationships working in blue collar work. I get paid way more, but it isn't worth it.
