Why do poor people love giving financial advice?
I've yet to hear a legit rich person give out financial IRL, it's always the brokies who always seem to have it all figured out (of course they can get rich if they wanted to..)
why do brokies love giving financial advice to other brokies?

There are two different skill sets re:financial advice.
frugality: making the best of whatever money you have
building wealth: how to increase income and assets
You can be good at one and crap at the other one. Grow up poor, learn how to do it well. Grow up rich, learn how to get/stay rich.
A few people grow up poor and master both.
Then of course there are plenty of people who don't seem to learn a damn thing and just suck.

They were gaslit by the rich people who say all it takes is hard work and commitment.
Can’t blame them for believing what the rich people say.

Depends on your definition of rich OP. Alot of people are legit retards with money, and youre right, most of their advice is bad. Rich people stop giving out advice quickly when they realize that nothing they say will impact the person asking for the advice. I've tried multiple times teaching my broke friends about bad debt vs good debt, investing, compound interest, etc. Most glaze over within 5 mins so you're casting your pearls before swine.

Uh I’ve heard financial speculation from literally over 100 people worth 10m - 3billion
Maybe they avoid mentioning stuff around people they think it would be rude to talk about money around?
Although when the big ballers start talking about yacht engines, I just wtf out.

How do you define 'poor person?' Like literally living under the poverty line? I've never had a poor person give me any financial advice nor have I ever seen a poor person givinganyonefinancial advice. Unless you're one of those delusional people who think anything under ceo 10k/day is 'poverty' because of nonsense you read here, at which point I can't help you.

You can always tell if someone is full of **** if they say they run a business but never mention that business by name.
If you run one, you are the number one promoter of it and will drive most people nuts talking about it.
Like when they interview the racecar driver they always mentions the main sponsor even though it has zero relevance to the interview

The guy who just got educated and is on week one is armed with knowledge, but not wisdom and has nothing to show, yet. Just like how first year lifters will argue about grams of protein per body weight when they squat 135. Then there are the ones with wisdom and a life time of gains. They have seen and done it and know what it takes. They know the vast majority of people will listen to the advice, but not do it, so why bother talking about it? That's why the jacked guys usually aren't talking lifting at parties.

and that seems to be an issue with a lot of brokies, they genuinely think they have it figured out for some reason...

The only rich people who give advice on how to become rich want to sell you something about how to get rich, so they can get richer.

They think they know it all which is part of the reason why they are poor in the first place

In addition why is it that broke people are the ones that are almost always talking about "manifesting/visualizing wealth"
I have 45 year old friends that are always "visualizing wealth" and constantly falling into the next multi-level marketing scheme
Bro, get your act together and stop dreaming about money. There is no such thing as get rich quick unless its based upon one in a million fluke luck

Poor people financial advice is much different than rich people financial advice. For the simple reason that poor people need to maximize money via frugality and have fewer assets while moggers aim to maximize time or efficient use of their time and have significant assets to invest
Frugality is cope. I used to be pretty frugal because i was poor. Now when i get significantly more, it didn't matter to me to save an 3 bucks on some toilet paper or even 20 bucks on a larger one time purchase
Money management is vastly different between rich and poor. The fundamental strategy and goals are different. Poor aim to save 5 bucks on a pack of toilet paper.

I learned frugality from family. Child of the stagflationary 70s with 4 living grandparents who survived the Great Depression. It was absolutely not an expansive wealth building type of culture. The opposite almost- very much a "work hard, grind, save your money, don't spend" story. If I would talk about wanting to do something outside of that I would be shot down about how I couldn't possibly do that because "too poor" and "where are you going to get the money for that?".
I had dreams of small business entrepreneurship early, which several family members have tried and some have succeeded at. I got as far as making some rough business plans, finding suppliers, and even picking out a location. Then I got an opportunity to go and work for a larger retailer instead, which is what I did- easier path, not necessarily the better one. We just have to choose and go on. I had one couple in my family that tried for a few years to make it as small retailers who went under and then were saddled paying off that debt for a long time.
I wasn't exposed to an alternative way of thinking until my early 30s. I was acquainted with and worked for some people who had done pretty well for themselves. Not moggers by misc standards, but wealth in the $10M plus zone. I met them as a GF/spouse of a long time family friend and then later was a professional paid assistant. Spent holidays with these people.
I'm not wealthy and in no way see myself as an expert, though I did begin to follow financial news and broader market/banking items then. I was working for a securities broker-dealer late 90s/earliest 00s. I'm not particularly self-confident, a big risk taker, or a person with strong people skills. I've had enough exposure to see a little bit of how things work and a different mindset which I wouldn't have had without that prior experience.
I don't know it all. I know a little bit about a lot of things, and more about a few things.
