Why does GoFundMe ask for tips?
One of my co-workers is terminally ill, and my employer set up a GoFundMe for his family. I go to donate and GoFundMe is asking for a fcking tip, claiming it's the only way GoFundMe makes any money.
I could have sworn I read recently they take a portion of each donation, even if they say they don't. Does anyone know if this is true? Still not going to tip; they can suck my fuking balls.

It's called nickel and dime. Stores do it all the time, they'll increase the price of a product by 5-10 cents. 99.9% of customers dont give a fukk about 10 cents, but when thousands of customers are paying the extra 10 cents without hesitation, they make millions more in profits.
