There's nothing worse than working "short handed"

I swear, it's already busy season time and at least for my job, thunderstorms make it terrible.. Add in people calling into work in order to chill with their family or have a vacation or see that we only have 7-8 people today with a bunch of training so they call out

I get off of a decently busy stint for 2 hrs and ask how long our breaks today are, "Oh we're only doing 30 min again".......... Brah, I ain't trying to work all day with basically no breaks

I know some of y'all gotta relate in this job market

Is that why all the United flights are (1.5 hours friend Denver 2 weeks ago), or 4 hours late leaving( friend this morning 6:50am-10:50am) the tarmac?
this chit is getting rediculous.

yeah we used to get a lot of people calling in sick on Mondays, every single Monday, until management finally caught on like 2-3 months later. It's lame because I work in the nice A/C office but when they are short-handed on the production floor I have to pitch in and help with the manual labor business to cover. Wagies ffs
