There's no big influx of illegals to Mass. The state has almost no open shelter beds to begin with and they've been housing the homeless in hotels for many years, at crazy taxpayer expense. Citation: one of my siblings that worked with the homeless in Boston for almost 20 years.

In other words Massachusetts already had an undeclared state of emergency in play just from their homeless problems for many years. The governor is doing this now in case NYC ships a bunch to MA.

They aren't a permanent welfare state stretched to the brim financially so they're able to handle x10 as many illegals a bit better.

Side note: 'Sanctuary city' NYC is busing illegals to other states, not just NY, and not just in the Northeast.

Biden and his DOJ sue border states that try to stop the flow the illegal aliens into America. So long as Biden continues with his open border policies, Democrat sanctuary states and cities will see large numbers of illegal aliens coming to live there.
