He was able to rip it the gate out of the brick wall because that's the weakest point. LOL at what looks like only 2 points of contact.

You can pull anything out of brick if you move it back and forth enough. Brick flakes off internally. It's hard on the outside because it's baked. Once you drill into brick, weaken it.
