Yeah this caused a big chit show a couple days ago because everyone was hoping for a remaster within the RDR2 engine. Most conservative gamers said to lower expectations and it will likely just be a remastered version of the original game. I think most people would have been okay with either.

These mfs just came out and announced a basic port. Lmfao, the bar was already so low how in God's name did R* manage to fukk this up?

Personally I was really hoping for a bundle with RDR1 remaster and RDR2 next gen update. I'd have gladly paid 50 for that.

What do you expect from Rockstar? They've become a shell of their former selves... Dropped off from being the GOAT to being money grabbing donkeys over the last decade.

In 2023 instead of focusing on GTA 6 they're just pumping out GTA and RDR2 online events over and over and over again.

But I never played rdrd so ,in my wishlist for sale ,could care less about the zombie mode ,never been a fan of that genre

100%. And if they DID do the port, offer it for fukkin' $10. Not $40. RDR1 in the RDR2 engine would've been supreme. (And an option to use RDR1 music in RDR2 because the original soundtrack MOGS THE FUK out of RDR2.)

Tried to play that sh!t and hated it right away. All the missions and co-op takes place in sectioned off areas. What's the point? May as well just make it an arcade mode, the open world is basically pointless.

**** Rockstar.they made good games but got lazy and greedy.its been a long time since i played RDR but people call it one of the best games of all time.i didnt really care for it too much.almost beat it till my PS3 got the yellow light of death but i liked Gun more.but yeah the whole community is talking about this.this is fuking BS and Rockstar knows idiots will pay for this.good going nerdyph@ggots.fukthe gaming industry even more.suk my balls ph@ggs

I bought Witcher III on switch recently and you can tell the system struggles with it. I'll play it and it's not a big deal but RDR2 on switch would be awful.

I've always had the Nintendo system in combination with either PS/Xbox (last PS was PS2)

but admittedly Nintendo peaked with the Gamecube and fell of hard after, but I still got the Wii (absolute trash, no redemption for this piece of chit) - WiiU - Switch for a couple of IP's really

now that Zelda became gutter trash this gen I'm not sure if I should proceed lol or they gotta push out a lot of Donkey Kong, Mario (main) or Metroid games (not even talking about F-Zero, Wave Race and other IPs that they just seem to forget)
