Anyone never soccer before but enjoying the FIFA Women’s World Cup?

I’ve never seen a Men’s FIFA World Cup cause I don’t watch soccer but this has actually been exciting even though I don’t know all the rules, it’s just been fun to watch. Never been interested to watch any men’s soccer.

If it wasn’t in Australia with The Matildas doing well and winning I wouldn’t watch.

I couldn't imagine ever giving a single crap about soccer unless a relative played it and I followed their games, or something.

I already barely care about sports that are actually somewhat entertaining at times. Why would I care about poverty soccer just because?

Was watching some of Aus vs France earlier-awful ball control & they look weak, but it was entertaining-France were running rings around the Aussies, who were clueless but kept managing to hoof the ball out of their danger zone.

I played and loved it all my life. Never watched women playing until this World Cup, but have been enjoying it. Skills stronger than expected, and very watchable. But once you go back to watching men play it looks like someone has hit the fast forward button because the speed is so different.

have been watching it, skill levels def improved. What annoys me though is how they constantly feel the need to make snide remarks/comparisons to the men's game by commentators/pundits/presenters/players/fans.
