I've got to be honest, I'm over the graphical fidelity arguments surrounding video games. I would say 80% of games that come out, I can't even tell if they're good games or not because the only discourse is whether or not it's in 4k or if it runs at 60 FPS. Graphics queens have effectively ruined gaming by demanding graphics take precedence over fun and gameplay. At the end of the day it legitimately does not matter if a game runs in 4k or at 60 fps, my time with Divinity and BG3 and any number of games where graphics don't matter has factored that in for me.

The cycle is always the same.
New game launches
Fans say "look how amazing this looks"
Critics say "1440? 30 FPS? Poverty graphics"
Fans go on about how great the game looks
Critics go on to make nonstop posts about how it doesn't "run as good as it should"

Can we go back to playing games because they're fun?
