I've been citypilled.

I moved to Las Vegas about a month and a half ago, and I genuinely feel great about it. Coming from Wyoming, the pros for me far outweigh the cons. Granted I moved here for a job like the one I had, but it pays far more and the potential growth is enormous due to a company merger. Wyoming is a great state to retire and vacation in, but it's pretty brutal to live in if you're young and need to work away from home. I'd love nothing more than to come back to retire on 100+ acres to shoot guns and drive toys around on the property, but outside of that life is tough since there's not a lot to do besides screw other dudes wives, drink and work.

Since moving to a city, I've been able to eat at a wide range of restaurants, go to bars and have almost an unlimited source of goods and services. Liquidators are big out here, and I was able to get a great deal on a flat screen TV and a gun safe. Grocery stores are packed with a wide variety of fresh produce and products, and the dating scene is far, far better lol. While crime is higher, I live in a gated community in Henderson, so it's no where near as bad as North Las Vegas or other parts, and the state of Nevada is surprisingly pro gun for the most part. The housing market is kind of rough here, but my new job definitely puts me in a better position to afford a house next year.

I might get a house in Boulder City or somewhere in the outskirt towns up to an hour away at most to get a better balance of city and rural life, but Henderson seems like a good place too. The move is looking good either way.

Just LOL @ bumfuknowherecels

The city is GOAT if you're young with no family

30 min drive outside of the city in the country would be ideal with a family

Good take for sure. I'm single and I have no kids, so I'm enjoying being in the city. Boulder City is about a half hour away from my job, so that'd be a good move if I ever settle down or just want to have a quieter area to live in.

BUT!!!! it’s also an ARCADE like when we were kids, so we can play awesome VIDEO GAMES, without dumb kids bothering us. speaking of which megan and i have finally decided to tie the knot- literally -we’re both getting snipped tomorrow at the hospital, that way we can save money to spent more on ourselves and our FURBABIES. i’m ****in JACKED man, i’m gonna SLAM this craft beer and pop open another one!!!

Have you told your parents you are gay yet?

Cities suck, and I live in one of the top 5 biggest in the country.
Would rather have an hour commute for groceries and live in the middle of nowhere than be subjected to city people

Las Vegas is one area where I was looking to move or either Laughlin or Reno. Got to get out of this California crap before this place collapses on itself.

I saw Lake Las Vegas and it looks nice from the pictures. Have you been there before? I was looking at that and also Summerlin to.

Cliff notes work better when your post is legible.

Just don't tell people you're from Cali, lol. The pushback here is about as bad as it was in Wyoming. I haven't been in those areas yet, but summerlin has some crazies. I saw a FB post of the aftermath of someone throwing a shopping cart into the windshield of a Mercedes Benz.
