Blows my mind how some people don't lift

Even when I'm hungover, didn't get sleep, sick or whatever the gym still transforms my day. I'll go from feeling like chit to feeling decent or great.
I love hitting a new pr, or looking in the mirror and looking good with a pump.

stunts your upward growth - why do you think all the pros are 5'6-5'8??

I legit turn into a train wreck when I’m not lifting

I eat like chit, drink like a fish, do drugs etc

Lifting has been the best cure from all the above because it gives you a reason to avoid those things

Sometimes I slack for a few days have a lift and instantly my mood is better

You feel more able to deal with what life throws at you lol

Yeah, I can't really do it anymore, but in college lifting earlyish after a night of everclear was the greatest. So many more veins and striations.
Helps me cope with the chitty decisions I made honestly

the sweet spot is 1 hour intense 5x a wk

any more than that and u start to go the other way into irritated mode
